Land and Water Form Trays

Ten trays of the most common land and water forms: lake, island, gulf, peninsula, strait, isthmus, bay, cape, archipelago, and system of lakes.

Set A (6 trays): lake, island, gulf, peninsula, strait, and isthmus. 

Set B (4 trays): bay, cape, archipelago, and system of lakes.

The Land and Water Form Trays are a tool used to teach the names of different land forms and water forms. The child pours water into each tray in order to visualize where the land and water meet, and how the forms are different. Areas of the trays representing water are painted blue.
